Levante UD v Real Madrid CF - La Liga

After the shock Real Madrid received from being eliminated from the Copa del Rey on Wednesday, the club’s management, led by “Florentino Pérez,” moved quickly to arrange the team’s situation for the future.

“Álvaro Arbeloa” began his mission as coach of the team with an unsuccessful start, as the team suffered a heavy defeat with a score of 2-3 against Albacete Club de Fútbol, one of the Second Division teams, in the round of 16 of the Copa del Rey, to bid farewell to the tournament early.

The newspaper “Mundo Deportivo” clarified that the dismissal of “Xabi Alonso” did not achieve the desired results, but rather the team reached its worst condition by losing to Albacete in the cup, this time under the leadership of “Álvaro Arbeloa.”

The newspaper added that despite the short period of time that “Arbeloa” spent with the team, this loss raises many questions, and every upcoming match will be a real test of his abilities.

Therefore, some believe that this experience will not last long and that “Arbeloa” is only a temporary coach paving the way for a new coach in the next season.

This is what was mentioned in the “El Larguero” program on Cadena SER radio, where it was said: “Real Madrid is already in contact with several coaches. The administration began this morning to communicate with candidates to take over the task next season.”

This news indicates that the continuation of “Arbeloa” in his position after the end of the current season is unlikely at all, and that “Pérez” will appoint a new technical director to take responsibility next summer.
