Website outage monitoring site “Down Detector” confirmed the decline of the technical glitch that affected the “X” platform (owned by Elon Musk), after tens of thousands of users around the world reported difficulties in using the platform on Tuesday.
The site indicated that the problem started around 9:00 AM Eastern Time, peaking with more than 28,300 reports in the United States alone, before falling to around 700 reports later.
Similarly, the United Kingdom saw a decrease in reports from more than 8,000 at the peak of the problem to about 130 reports, and Canada witnessed a similar decline after recording more than 3,200 notices of technical problems.
The site reported that it collects status data from various sources to track outages, explaining that the actual number of affected users may differ from the announced figures, given the system’s reliance on voluntary reports from users.
The company “X” has not issued any official statement regarding the reasons for this disruption so far.
