“Salam” and “Hassan” Meeting at the 8th Session of the Joint High Committee Sponsored by Saraya

The Grand Serail will host the activities of the eighth session of the Jordanian-Lebanese Joint Higher Committee tomorrow, Wednesday afternoon. This session will be chaired by both the President of the Council of Ministers Nawaf Salam and the Prime Minister of Jordan Jaafar Hassan.

The Prime Minister of Jordan is expected to arrive at Rafic Hariri International Airport around 3:00 PM tomorrow. President Salam will receive him, and then they will move together to the Grand Serail, where the official reception ceremony for the Jordanian guest will take place.

After a bilateral meeting between the two Presidents, the work of the Higher Committee will begin under their chairmanship and with the presence of members of the Lebanese and Jordanian delegations. At the end of the meetings, a number of agreements and memoranda of understanding will be signed.

Furthermore, Presidents Salam and Hassan intend to make a joint press statement following the conclusion of the Committee’s work.
