At the Saudi Embassy in Beirut, Ambassador Walid Bukhari received a delegation from the Federation of Lebanese-Gulf Business Councils, headed by Wissam Al-Ariss.
During the meeting, they discussed the current situation in Lebanon, with a focus on economic and financial challenges, in addition to reviewing mechanisms for developing economic relations between the two brotherly countries and activating cooperation between the private sector in both.
The delegation members appreciated the pivotal role played by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in supporting Lebanon, and its continuous efforts to revive it and consolidate the foundations of a strong state.
For his part, Ambassador Bukhari, according to what the delegation conveyed, affirmed the “great interest” shown by the Saudi leadership towards Lebanon’s return to the path of recovery, and its diligent follow-up of developments in order to help it overcome the difficult circumstances it is going through.
