تعديل إداري في كازينو لبنان بعد فترة حرجة

Charles Ghosn was elected Chairman of the Board of Directors of Casino du Liban and granted full administrative and executive powers. This step comes in the context of restructuring the company and enhancing the efficiency of senior management, in preparation for the start of a new phase in governance and operational performance.

Charles Ghosn is responsible for managing the business of Casino du Liban, and also holds the position of General Manager of “Château Ksara”. He is also among the founders of the National Union of Vine and Wine, and played a major role in developing Lebanese wine laws, in addition to being an appellate lawyer and legal expert.

Ghosn’s election comes at a critical time for the entertainment and tourism sector in Lebanon, amid expectations that his administrative and legal experience will contribute to leading a modernization process that is in line with modern standards and will re-establish the position of Casino du Liban as one of the most important tourist and entertainment landmarks in the country.

It is worth noting that the site has covered developments in the Casino du Liban file over the past months, especially the case related to electronic gambling games, known in the media as the “Casino” file. In this context, the indictment authority in Mount Lebanon, headed by Judge Fadi Al-Aridi, agreed last September to release the Director General of the Casino, Roland Khoury, and three others on bail of 20 billion Lebanese pounds each, after they were detained for investigation in the aforementioned case.

The new president is expected to begin his duties in the coming days, with the completion of the necessary organizational procedures, including the distribution of powers and the activation of governance mechanisms, within the framework of a comprehensive plan for administrative reorganization and the promotion of transparency.
