
The Syndicate of Employees and Workers of “Middle East Airlines” announced that preserving the dignity of its employees and protecting their livelihood rights is a primary goal for it, especially in light of the harsh economic conditions in which Lebanon is living.
In a statement issued by it, the syndicate explained that its talks with the Chairman of the Board and Director General of the company, “Mohammad El-Hout,” resulted in agreement on promotions and a new structure for salaries and job levels for employees, with the aim of improving their job conditions and appreciating their contributions to continuing work despite the security and financial difficulties.
The syndicate expressed its appreciation for the company’s response, stressing that the decisions taken reflect an understanding of the living situation of the employees, and achieve a balance between their rights and the stability of the company.
The syndicate also affirmed that what has been achieved represents an important accomplishment that restores value to salaries, and lays clear and transparent foundations for promotions and increases, ensuring fairness among all employees.
In conclusion, the syndicate affirmed its commitment to promoting job stability and maintaining the position of “Middle East Airlines” as a national company, through responsible cooperation with the administration to face various challenges.
