سلاح غير مسبوق: تفاصيل جديدة حول العملية الأمريكية في فنزويلا

White House spokeswoman Karoline Leavitt published on the “X” platform on Saturday a story attributed to a Venezuelan guard claiming that US forces used what he described as a “mysterious weapon” during a military operation carried out against Venezuela.

According to the account shared by Leavitt under the title “Stop what you’re doing and read this,” the guard, who was not identified, stated that US forces were able to eliminate hundreds of fighters without losing any soldiers, using technology “he had never seen or heard of before.”

The guard reported that they were on high alert before all radar systems suddenly malfunctioned “without any explanation,” adding that the next scene was a large number of drones flying over their locations. He continued: “We didn’t know how to respond, and moments later about 8 helicopters appeared, deploying only about 20 American soldiers.”

The guard described the operation as the US forces being “very technologically advanced,” considering what happened “not a battle but a massacre,” and added: “We were hundreds, but we didn’t have a chance.”

He touched on the moment when he used what he called the “mysterious weapon,” saying: “At one point, they fired something I don’t know how to describe. It was like an extremely intense sound wave, with which I felt like my head was exploding from the inside.” He added: “We all started bleeding from the nose, some vomited blood, and we fell to the ground unable to move.”

The White House has not issued any immediate comment clarifying whether sharing the post means the US administration adopts the accuracy of this story.

According to the Venezuelan Interior Ministry, about 100 members of the security forces were killed in the attack that occurred on January 3, without clarifying whether any of these deaths were caused by the weapon mentioned in the account.

The guard confirmed that the small US unit ended the confrontation without any casualties, saying: “Those twenty men, without a single injury, killed hundreds of us.”

In contrast, The Post quoted a former US intelligence source as saying that the US military has possessed directed-energy weapons for decades, capable of disabling targets using concentrated energy such as microwaves or lasers, and it is likely that this is the first time they have been used in real combat.

The source added that these weapons can cause symptoms including bleeding, paralysis of the ability to move or work, as well as pain and burning.

The guard concluded his story with a warning message in which he said: “I give a warning to anyone who thinks he can fight the United States… After what I saw, I never want to be on the other side of that again.”

He pointed out that the attack caused widespread shock in Latin America, especially in light of recent warnings by US President Donald Trump, which included reference to Colombia and Mexico, in addition to his talk of wanting to annex Greenland and Canada.
