صادرات الأخشاب الروسية إلى الولايات المتحدة تبلغ ذروة غير مسبوقة منذ عام 2023

Data from the U.S. Census Bureau showed an increase in Russia’s exports of plywood to the United States, during the period from January to October 2025, recording its highest level since 2023.

Official figures indicate that the value of these exports amounted to approximately $61.1 million, representing an increase of 12% compared to the same period in 2024. This figure is close to the record set in 2023, when U.S. companies imported Russian plywood worth $64.3 million during the same period.

The American demand was not limited to plywood alone, but other Russian wood products, such as windows, frames, and doors, witnessed increasing demand, with purchases reaching approximately $1.28 million between January and October 2025, compared to $1.278 million in the same period of the previous year.

As a result of these figures, Russia ranked twenty-fifth in the list of the largest exporters of wood, wood products, and wood charcoal to the United States.

In contrast, Canada topped the list of exporting countries with a value of $8.4 billion during the same period, followed by China and Brazil with approximately $1.2 billion each, then Vietnam with $1.1 billion, Chile with $881.7 million, and Indonesia with $764.8 million.
