نزوح كبير من حلب: أرقام ووجهات النازحين وفقًا لمصادر سورية رسمية

Official Syrian sources announced on Thursday the number of displaced people from the city of Aleppo, in light of the armed clashes the northern city has been witnessing since Tuesday.

The Central Response Committee in Aleppo stated that the Directorate of Transportation has provided means to transport and evacuate approximately 142,000 people from the “Ashrafieh” and “Sheikh Maqsoud” areas.

According to the Syrian News Agency “SANA”, the committee clarified that these people headed either to shelters or to places of their choosing.

The committee also mentioned that the traffic police secured the roads to facilitate traffic flow and avoid congestion, while the Directorate of Social Affairs and Labor, through field teams, directed residents to the available transportation options.

It revealed the opening of ten temporary shelter centers inside the city of Aleppo, in addition to other centers in “Afrin” and “Azaz” in the city’s countryside.

Since Tuesday, areas in Aleppo have been witnessing clashes between the Syrian army and the Syrian Democratic Forces “SDF”, resulting in dozens of deaths and injuries.
