عملية سرية: تفاصيل جديدة تكشفها صحيفة أميركية عن اعتقال مادورو

The “New York Times” reported that the US operation that resulted in the arrest of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro and his wife, Cilia Flores, began with an intensive cyberattack that cut off power to the capital, Caracas.

The newspaper quoted officials familiar with the details of the operation, who were not identified, as saying that the cyberattack caused vast areas of Caracas to plunge into darkness, allowing planes, drones, and helicopters to approach undetected.

In a related context, Dan Kain, Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff at the Pentagon, stated on Saturday that more than 150 aircraft participated in the operation to capture the Venezuelan President.

US President Donald Trump announced on Saturday that the United States had launched a large-scale strike on Venezuela, and confirmed that Maduro and his wife had been “arrested” and removed from the country.
