U.S. Transportation Secretary, “Sean Duffy,” announced that the Federal Aviation Administration has lifted the restrictions that were imposed on the airspace over the Caribbean region, which began early on Saturday morning.

“Duffy” explained in a statement published on social media that these restrictions “ended at 12 midnight Eastern Time,” confirming that air traffic can resume normally.

He also mentioned that airlines have been informed of this decision, and they will work quickly to adjust their flight schedules, and advised travelers to contact their airlines to inquire about any impact that may have occurred on their flights as a result of the previous procedures.

It is worth noting that the announcement did not address the issue of airspace over Venezuela, which the Federal Aviation Administration had imposed other restrictions on separately at an earlier time, coinciding with a military operation during which U.S. forces arrested its president “Nicolas Maduro” and transferred him to the United States.
