انخفاض أسعار القمح الأوروبي في تعاملات خفيفة بسبب عطلة رأس السنة الميلادية

European wheat began 2026 with a price decrease, amid weak trading due to the absence of many market participants because of the long New Year’s holiday.

On the Euronext exchange in Paris, the price of the standard milling wheat for March fell by 0.4% to 189.00 euros (equivalent to $221.73).

According to “Reuters,” wheat futures faced pressure due to abundant global supply, ignoring any potential support from the escalating Russian-Ukrainian war, in addition to the lack of progress in peace negotiations between the two countries.

Despite intensive talks led by US President “Donald Trump” aimed at ending the war that has been ongoing for nearly four years, Russia and Ukraine exchanged accusations of carrying out attacks against civilians on the first day of the New Year. (Al Arabiya)
