MP Ihab Hamadeh, a member of the Loyalty to the Resistance Bloc, considered that “the Zionist-American project is represented by a set of goals, perhaps the most prominent of which at this stage is the restructuring of a new map for this nation and its geography, so that entities are created and entities change in their titles and objectives, which constitutes a prelude to complete control over this nation, and to enable the Israeli once again to be the policeman who moves in the name of the West, not to achieve alleged Talmudic goals, but in order for this West to continue to control our wealth, because this region is the heart of the world and the focus in which wealth, resources and economic capabilities gather.”
This came during a memorial ceremony held to commemorate the passing of a week since the passing of Allama Sheikh Khalil Muhammad Sharaf Al-Din, in the hall of the Imam Khomeini Cultural Center in Baalbek, in the presence of MP Yanal Solh, the head of the Union of Baalbek Municipalities, Hussein Ali Raad, the mayor of Baalbek, Ahmed Zuhair Al-Tufaili, and the head of the media department, Malek Muhammad Yaghi, representing the leadership of the Bekaa region in Hezbollah, and the head of the Baalbek sector, Youssef Al-Yahfoufi, and the head of the Association of Mukhtars of the Baalbek district, Ali Hussein Othman, in addition to a number of religious, municipal, optional and social figures.
In the context of his speech, Hamadeh explained that “the old, renewed Zionist-American project is still trying to impose itself on this nation to be in a position to obtain historical gains represented by its ambitions, especially at the level of plundering wealth to enslaving peoples,” stressing that “the greatest Satan, represented by the American administration at this stage, especially with President Donald Trump, takes madness as its title.”
He continued, saying: “If we read the scene of the global map, we find that the world at this stage is almost ablaze in all geographies, in our region, Latin America, Africa, and Europe, where we are witnessing events moved by the American satanic fingers that tamper everywhere, reaching what is happening at the level of Iranian geography.”
Hamadeh warned against “the deception of the image broadcast by the media empires that represent the complete servant of the Zionist-American project,” considering that it “works to amplify the movements in Iran, and conjures up lies and fabricated images through artificial intelligence and broadcasts them as if they are currently taking place in the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
He recalled “the course of the American and Israeli war on Iran, which extended in its direct sense for 12 days last year, from which the Islamic Republic emerged with a clear victory, despite attempts to distort the narrative and show the enemy as the victor, while the Zionist entity begged for a ceasefire as a result of the material and existential exhaustion that afflicted it.”
Hamadeh also believed that “what is happening in Lebanon is part of this project,” considering that “the danger to Lebanon as an entity is an existential danger, not to a specific sect,” and pointing out that “Lebanon comes at the forefront of the priorities of the Zionist-American project.”
He pointed out that “Greater Israel is part of Greater America, which does not move from religious backgrounds, but rather the religious claim is only a cover, while the real goal is to control the peoples and wealth of the region.”
He called for “the unity of the Lebanese to unify the national position,” stressing that “the real protection of Lebanon can only be achieved through resistance,” and stressing that “the enemy targets Lebanon day and night without deterrence.”
He concluded his speech by emphasizing that “the resistance is fully prepared to confront the enemy when needed,” noting that “the Lebanese state is required to exercise everything it can to stop the attacks,” and the meeting concluded with a Husseini mourning council for the reciter Sheikh Muhammad Mahdi Raad.
