All eyes are on the upcoming Galaxy S26 Ultra, with informed sources revealing a unique addition in the field of privacy powered by artificial intelligence. This innovative feature is designed to limit the visibility of what appears on the screen by people nearby.
The feature, called “Privacy Display,” automatically dims the screen when viewed from side angles. This action aims to protect the user’s privacy and prevent anyone else from seeing what is being displayed.
This feature can be activated in two ways: either manually through the settings, or via the quick settings panel. In addition, users can set it to work automatically based on certain conditions, such as when they are out of the house or in a public place. It can also be linked to the “Modes & Routines” application to facilitate the automation process.
Leaks indicate that this feature may require the use of the latest generation of OLED screens, and may rely on “Flex Magic Pixel” technology that Samsung revealed in early 2024. This increases the likelihood of it appearing for the first time in the Galaxy S26 series phones.
The question remains as to whether this feature will be available in all versions of the Galaxy S26 series, or whether it will be exclusive to the Ultra version only. It is worth noting that there is currently no other smartphone on the market that offers a similar feature.
