إيران: عرض بيع أسلحة متطورة مقابل العملات الرقمية

Iran is seeking to circumvent Western sanctions imposed on it by offering to sell advanced weapons in exchange for “cryptocurrencies,” in an attempt to revive its ailing economy, according to a British newspaper.

The British newspaper “Financial Times” reported that Iran has offered ballistic missiles, drones, and warships for sale to foreign governments, stipulating payment in cryptocurrencies, in an effort to exploit digital assets to bypass Western financial restrictions.

Promotional documents and payment terms analyzed by the “Financial Times” indicate that the Iranian Ministry of Defense’s export center, known as “MINDEX,” announces its readiness to negotiate military deals allowing payment in digital currencies, in addition to the options of barter and the Iranian Rial.
