Tecno has begun its promotional campaign for its upcoming phone, which it expects to be among the best in the Android phone market.
The new Pova Curve 2 phone comes with a water and dust-resistant structure according to the IP64 standard, a 6.78-inch AMOLED screen, a display resolution of (1224/2720) pixels, a refresh rate of 144 Hz, a pixel density of about 440 pixels per inch, and brightness up to 1300 candelas per square meter. The device runs on “Android-16” with the HIOS 16 user interface, a Mediatek Dimensity 7100 processor, 8 or 12 GB of RAM, and 128 or 256 GB of internal storage.
The main rear camera features a resolution of 50 megapixels and is capable of recording 4K video at 30 frames per second, while the front camera comes with a resolution of 13 megapixels and is also capable of recording 4K video.
The phone is equipped with speakers that support Dolby Atmos technology, two SIM card slots, a USB Type-C 2.0 port, an NFC chip, infrared technology for remotely controlling electronic devices, and an FM radio signal receiver. Tecno supported the phone with a fingerprint scanner integrated into the screen, Bluetooth 5.4 technology for pairing with other devices and transferring data wirelessly, and an 8000 mAh battery that supports 45W fast charging.
