The Egyptian Media Syndicate has issued a decision to withdraw the license to practice the profession from a presenter working in a licensed Egyptian media organization.
This action came after the syndicate received an official copy of a final and conclusive criminal court ruling, convicting the person concerned in a forgery case “in an official document,” which is considered a crime involving moral turpitude.
Out of concern for his professional future and to protect the reputation of the institution he works for, the syndicate did not disclose the name of the media professional or the name of the media institution. However, the decision issued against him included all the necessary details, documents, and data, and a copy of it was sent to the concerned media institution.
The syndicate called on all individuals and entities dealing with it to be accurate when submitting any papers or documents, in order to avoid falling under the law and criminal accountability.
