حصاد برامج الزراعة: أرقام حول البذور والشتلات والدعم المالي

In a statement, the Ministry of Agriculture announced that, in the context of its ongoing efforts to support the agricultural sector and enhance the resilience of farmers and the development of agricultural production, it has provided various agricultural assistance to 45,435 farmers and farms during the period from March to December 2025, in cooperation with local and international partners throughout Lebanon.

The Ministry explained that this assistance took various forms, such as direct support programs, provision of production inputs, organization of training courses, and development of agricultural infrastructure, with the aim of enhancing productive capacity, improving crop quality, and strengthening food security.

It pointed out that the assistance included the distribution of wheat seeds to 600 farmers, the provision of cash financial assistance benefiting 5,069 farmers, in addition to the implementation of a livestock vaccination campaign against foot-and-mouth disease, which included 2,577 farms.

It also included the distribution of agricultural saws and pruning shears to 3,197 farmers, and the distribution of olive seedlings to 10,000 farmers in various Lebanese regions, along with the organization of agricultural training and guidance programs benefiting 19,802 farmers.

In addition, the assistance included the distribution of organic liquid fertilizer to 3,960 farmers, and the implementation of irrigation extension projects benefiting 230 farms.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirmed that these programs come within its vision aimed at providing comprehensive and integrated support to the Lebanese farmer, by combining direct support, capacity building, and promoting agricultural sustainability, under the slogan “#Agriculture_Pulse_of_the_Land_and_Life.”

In conclusion, the Ministry affirmed its continued work with partners to expand the scope of support during the coming period, to face economic and climate challenges, and contribute to stabilizing farmers in their lands and strengthening the role of agriculture as a fundamental pillar of the national economy.
