الصين: زيادة في الإنفاق الحكومي لتحفيز الاقتصاد وتطوير البنية التحتية

China’s National Development and Reform Commission approved on Wednesday a package of major projects and investment plans funded by the central government’s budget for 2026, with a total value of nearly 295 billion yuan ($42.21 billion). This move is the latest in a series of measures aimed at stimulating investment and supporting economic growth.

“Li Chao,” spokesperson for the commission, the official government body responsible for planning, explained that the government has allocated approximately 220 billion yuan to fund 281 projects that fall under major national strategic and security plans, such as the construction of underground pipeline networks.

Furthermore, more than 75 billion yuan has been allocated to fund 673 projects in various sectors, including environmental protection and carbon emission reduction.

In statements made in Beijing, “Li” stated that these projects “will enhance the improvement of China’s modern infrastructure system and provide strong support for a smooth start to the 15th Five-Year Plan (2026-2030).”

In 2025, the world’s second-largest economy allocated 800 billion yuan to programs focused on major national projects and the development of security-related capabilities. Through these investments, the Chinese government seeks to stabilize growth, strengthen infrastructure, and ensure energy and resource security in light of current economic challenges. (Sky News)
