الزراعة: استفادة ما يزيد على 45 ألف مزارع من مبادرات الدعم الزراعي بين آذار وكانون الأول عام 2025

In its continuous endeavor to support the agricultural sector, enhance the resilience of farmers, and raise the level of production, the Ministry of Agriculture announced “that 45,435 farmers and farms benefited from various agricultural aid between March and December 2025, in cooperation with local and international partners and in various Lebanese regions.”

The Ministry stated “that this aid varied to include direct support programs, production inputs, training, and agricultural infrastructure, with the aim of raising productive capacity, improving the quality of crops, and enhancing food security.

The aid included the following:

Distribution of wheat seeds to 600 farmers.

Providing cash assistance benefiting 5,069 farmers.

Conducting health immunization of livestock against foot-and-mouth disease covering 2,577 farms.

Distribution of agricultural saws and shears to 3,197 farmers.

Providing olive seedlings to 10,000 farmers in various Lebanese regions.

Implementing agricultural training and guidance programs benefiting 19,802 farmers.

Distribution of liquid organic fertilizer to 3,960 farmers.

Implementing irrigation extensions for the benefit of 230 farms.

The Ministry of Agriculture affirmed “that these programs are part of its vision aimed at supporting the Lebanese farmer in an integrated manner, by combining direct support, capacity building, and promoting agricultural sustainability, under the slogan #Agriculture_Pulse_of_the_Land_and_Life.”

It concluded by emphasizing “the continuation of work with partners to expand the scope of support during the next stage, in a way that keeps pace with economic and climatic challenges, and contributes to تثبيت farmers in their land and strengthening the role of agriculture as a fundamental pillar of the national economy.”
