Joao Cancelo Simone Inzaghi Hilal GOAL ONLY

Inter Milan officials have begun talks to sign Portuguese player Joao Cancelo, who plays as a defender for Al-Hilal Saudi Club, during the upcoming winter transfer window.

In this context, Fabrizio Romano, a specialist in transfer news, stated on his “X” account: “Joao Cancelo is set to leave Al-Hilal in the winter transfer window.”

The transfer expert added: “Inter Milan contacted Al-Hilal to inquire about the terms of the loan and discuss the possibility of completing the deal.”

Romano concluded: “Barcelona and Juventus have also made contacts in the past 48 hours to inquire about Cancelo’s situation.”

According to the AlMuntasaf program, Simone Inzaghi, Inter’s coach, decision not to keep Cancelo in Al-Hilal’s ranks is based on disciplinary rather than technical reasons.

Inzaghi believes that Cancelo is undisciplined off the field, which may negatively affect the team’s dressing room.

The same source mentioned that Al-Hilal’s management does not oppose the Portuguese player’s transfer if a suitable offer arrives, in order to provide the necessary funding for new deals.

Inzaghi refuses to re-register Cancelo in Al-Hilal’s local list, preferring not to make any changes to the list of eight foreign players.

It is worth mentioning that Cancelo suffered a serious injury during his participation in a match against Al-Duhail of Qatar in the AFC Champions League Elite, which led to his exclusion from the list and the registration of Brazilian Marcos Leonardo in his place.

Since returning from injury, the Portuguese player has participated in four matches in the continental tournament, where he managed to score one goal and assist two.
