
The Iranian Ambassador to Lebanon, Mojtaba Amani, stated that he met with the Commander of the Lebanese Army, General Rodolphe Helou, to congratulate him on the occasion of the glorious holidays and the New Year 2026.
Amani also stated that during the meeting, he expressed his wishes that these occasions would bring happiness and prosperity to Lebanon, this dear and strong country, and that security and peace would prevail in the face of the dangers it faces, praising the pivotal role played by the Lebanese Army in maintaining stability and strengthening national unity.
In a related context, Amani mentioned that he visited the Lebanese Minister of Defense, Major General Michel Mansour, in his office in Yarzeh, and offered him congratulations and blessings on the occasion of the holidays, considering that these celebrations represent an opportunity to meet and enhance the values of “brotherhood, love, and compassion” that elevate humanity.
He pointed out that the meeting touched on discussing the latest developments, foremost of which are “the ongoing Zionist attacks on Lebanon,” in addition to discussing ways to consolidate cooperation and relations in a way that serves stability and mutual interests between the two brotherly countries.
