فضل الله: استياء من الاعتداء على مسجد حمص واستغراب من إقرار "الفجوة المالية"

During a dialogue seminar held at the Islamic Cultural Center in Haret Hreik, Mr. Ali Fadlallah expressed his deep concern about the plans being hatched for the region. He warned of the “Zionist enemy’s” ambitions in Lebanon and the possibility of escalating its aggression. He stressed that these dangers require the utmost vigilance, reason, and awareness, by strengthening internal cohesion, noting that “this enemy does not distinguish between one sect and another or one doctrine and another, but seeks to dominate the entire country.”

He expressed his hope that the holidays would be a symbol of love and a bridge to harmony in the face of the charged discourse that digs up divisions and disagreements, calling for the adoption of a frank dialogue among the Lebanese, as the best way to achieve the goals of advancing the country and reviving it.

He also expressed his surprise at the government’s ratification of the “Financial Gap Law” despite its strong rejection, pointing out that aspirations were pinned on a more impartial and fair law that holds accountable those who smuggled their money abroad, those who tampered with the country’s wealth, and the corrupt.

In a related context, Fadlallah condemned the brutal attack on worshipers in the “Imam Ali Mosque” in the city of Homs, considering that this criminal act, which is inconsistent with all religious and human values, aims to ignite sedition between Sunnis and Shiites and spread unrest in Syria, and only serves the interests of the “Zionist entity” and the enemies of the nation, calling for unifying ranks and confronting all those who try to sow discord among the components of this nation.
