In light of significant regional developments and the approaching crucial moments related to Lebanese affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al-Khulaifi, Minister of State at the Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs, met in Doha with Prince Yazeed bin Mohammed bin Fahd Al Farhan, Advisor to the Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs for Lebanese Affairs, who is currently visiting Qatar. This meeting comes in the context of ongoing political and diplomatic consultations between the two countries regarding the Lebanese issue.
The Qatari Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced in an official statement that the meeting included a review of cooperative relations between Qatar and Saudi Arabia and ways to develop and strengthen them, in addition to discussing the latest developments in Lebanon, and the joint efforts and continuous coordination between the two parties regarding this file.
During the meeting, Minister Al-Khulaifi stressed Qatar’s supportive position towards Lebanon, reiterating Doha’s keenness to support the brotherly Lebanese people, and supporting everything that serves its stability and helps it overcome its problems, within the framework of “joint Arab cooperation.”
