Al Nassr v Al Okhdood: Saudi Pro League

After scoring two goals in his match against Al-Akhdoud, in the eleventh round of the Saudi Professional League, Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo, captain of Al-Nassr, added Al-Akhdoud to a special list.

Ronaldo opened the scoring in the 32nd minute, taking advantage of a header from Abdulelah Al-Amri following a corner kick taken by Portuguese player Joao Felix, to find himself in front of the empty net amid carelessness from the opposing team’s defense and score a goal.

Ronaldo returned in the third minute of added time to score his second goal, benefiting from a precise cross from Croatian Marcelo Brozovic to convert it into the net.

The football statistics network “Opta” stated that Al-Akhdoud became the fourth team to have its net shaken by at least one goal in the first four matches against Ronaldo in the Saudi Professional League.

It pointed out that “Al-Akhdoud joined an exceptional list that includes clubs that conceded goals in the first 4 matches against Ronaldo in the Saudi Professional League, where it accompanied Al-Shabab, Al-Fateh, and Al-Wehda.”

With this, Ronaldo topped the list of top scorers in the Saudi Professional League this season, after raising his score to 12 goals, surpassing his compatriot Felix, who fell to second place with 11 goals.

Ronaldo’s score reached 956 goals in his football career, bringing him closer to reaching the 1000th goal, as he only needs 44 goals to achieve this historic achievement.
