In a tragic incident, three people were killed in the Belgorod region of Russia after their vehicle was targeted by a drone.
According to what was announced by the Belgorod operations center today, Tuesday, this attack occurred near the settlement of Grushevka, and led to the complete burning of the car.
The center also stated that a fourth person in the car was injured and received immediate medical treatment.
In a related context, the Russian Ministry of Defense announced earlier today that it had intercepted and shot down 21 Ukrainian drones over Russian territory, between 2:00 PM and 5:00 PM Moscow time.
The ministry indicated that the Belgorod region, which is located on the border with Ukraine, witnessed the downing of 11 drones out of the total number.
