The European Union stated that these projects will benefit more than 500,000 people in areas that have suffered from displacement and conflict, explaining that they aim to improve living standards and provide protection for the most vulnerable groups.
These initiatives include training programs to empower young people professionally, providing financial grants to support small projects, in addition to school feeding programs aimed at ensuring the continuation of the educational process and improving children’s health, in addition to providing the necessary protection services to affected communities, as stated on the Sudanese website “Al-Mashhad”.
The European Union stressed that this step comes as part of its commitment to supporting the Sudanese people in light of the difficult humanitarian conditions they face, and reflects its interest in investing in long-term development as a way to promote stability and reduce the negative effects of conflicts.
