نيجيريا في طليعة الإبداع التكنولوجي باستضافتها مؤتمر "RegTech Africa 2026"

Under the esteemed patronage of the Office of the Vice President of Nigeria, and in partnership with the Presidential Committee on Economic and Financial Inclusion and the Inter-Governmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa (GIABA), Nigeria is preparing to host the RegTech Africa Conference & Expo 2026. The event will be held in the Banquet Hall at the State House in Abuja, from May 20 to 22, 2026.

The conference, themed “Building Trust, Infrastructure and Policies for a Borderless Economy,” represents a vital global platform for shaping the future of trusted digital financial systems, as well as cross-border trade, and regulatory innovation.

This important event will bring together government leaders, representatives of regulatory bodies, central bank officials, financial intelligence units, multinational financial institutions, as well as technology leaders and investors. The aim of this gathering is to develop robust strategies related to infrastructure, governance, and digital trust frameworks, with the goal of promoting the full participation of the African continent in the global digital economy.

Among the conference highlights is the hosting of the Global Startup World Cup – Regional Challenge. This championship will provide African startups with a global platform to showcase their innovative solutions to a prestigious international jury comprising investors and industry experts. The winners will qualify for the final competition to be held in Silicon Valley, where they will compete for an investment prize worth $1 million.

The conference will include strategic ministerial dialogues, closed-door sessions for senior executives, specialized investment sessions, advanced technology presentations, and effective networking platforms aimed at fostering public-private partnerships.

Through this event, Nigeria seeks to strengthen its leadership position in setting global standards for trust, transparency, and cross-border economic cooperation. The conference also aims to highlight African innovation and directly link it to global investments and markets.
