مشاريع ضخمة روسية سعودية في طور التجهيز في مجالات الاقتصاد والتجارة والثقافة

Russia and Saudi Arabia are moving towards launching massive cooperative initiatives that include the trade and economic sectors, in addition to the fields of culture, tourism, and sports.

This is what the Saudi Ambassador in Moscow, Sami bin Mohammed Al-Sudais, stated during his meeting with Grigory Karasin, Chairman of the International Affairs Committee of the Russian Federation Council, on Friday.

Al-Sudais expressed his optimism about the important joint projects awaiting the two countries in the economic, commercial, tourism and cultural sectors, stressing: “We will also continue to coordinate on regional and international issues.”

For his part, Karasin pointed to the remarkable and rapid development witnessed by Russian-Saudi relations, stressing the continued close coordination between the two countries in the field of foreign policy.

Karasin also pointed out that 2026 will mark the centenary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, and that Saudi Arabia will be the guest of honor at the 29th session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in that year.

Al-Sudais affirmed his country’s happiness to participate as a guest of honor in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum in 2026, adding: “We hope to witness mutual events in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Russian Federation. For example, the “Intervision” competition will be held in Riyadh next year. All of this shows the important transformations taking place in the relations between our two countries.”

The Ambassador also noted the good personal relations that unite the leaders of the two countries. (Russia Today)
