وذكر بيان صادر عن الغرفة أنه جرى خلال الاجتماع مناقشة طرق تنشيط الحركة الاقتصادية والتنموية، وإطلاق مبادرات قادرة على ضخ الحيوية وتحفيز النهوض والنمو في مدينة طرابلس والشمال.
وأشار الدكتور غزال إلى “أن هدف زيارته هو طرح إعادة إحياء المجلس الاقتصادي لمدينة طرابلس”، مشيراً إلى “أن الظروف الراهنة باتت مواتية جدا لإعادة إطلاقه وتفعيل دوره، خصوصا أن كل من يترأس الهيئات والمرافق الإقتصادية في المدينة رجال مؤهلون وأكفاء وذوو سمعة طيبة وقادرون على الاضطلاع بدور محوري في تعزيز مكانة طرابلس كعاصمة اقتصادية للبنان”.
بدوره، أشاد دبوسي بالمبادرة التي قدمها الدكتور غزال، مؤكداً “أن غرفة طرابلس الكبرى ستبقى منصة جامعة لأصحاب الكفاءات والرؤى الاقتصادية والاستثمارية”. (الوكالة الوطنية)
Tawfiq Daboussi, President of the Chamber of Commerce, Industry and Agriculture in Tripoli and the North, received Dr. Nader Ghazal, President of the African-Asian Council for Artificial Intelligence and Cybersecurity, in the presence of Nakhil Yamin, Vice President of the Chamber.
A statement issued by the Chamber stated that during the meeting, ways to revitalize the economic and development movement were discussed, and initiatives capable of injecting vitality and stimulating advancement and growth in the city of Tripoli and the North were launched.
Dr. Ghazal pointed out that “the purpose of his visit is to propose the revival of the Economic Council of the city of Tripoli,” noting that “the current circumstances are very favorable for relaunching it and activating its role, especially since everyone who heads the economic bodies and facilities in the city are qualified, competent men with a good reputation and capable of playing a pivotal role in strengthening Tripoli’s position as the economic capital of Lebanon.”
For his part, Daboussi praised the initiative presented by Dr. Ghazal, stressing that “the Greater Tripoli Chamber will remain a comprehensive platform for people with competencies and economic and investment visions.” (National Agency)
