
In his speech, Shehadeh stated that “this step reflects a genuine desire on the part of the municipality to keep pace with digital development and provide modern and effective services to citizens,” and explained that “the new website is supported by artificial intelligence technologies and enjoys high security standards, making it an advanced model at the level of municipal work in Lebanon.”
Shehadeh also emphasized that “technology is no longer an additional option, but has become a necessity to manage people’s affairs faster and more transparently,” adding: “This project confirms the ability of municipalities to innovate.”
Finally, Shehadeh pointed out “the importance of generalizing this experience,” considering that “what we are witnessing today should become a model to be followed in all municipalities, because the adoption of digital solutions contributes to consolidating trust between the citizen and institutions, enhances the principle of transparency and provides easier and more advanced services.”
