After his meeting with President Joseph Aoun at Baabda Palace, Al-Rahi ruled out the possibility of war breaking out, stating that “the Lebanese army is doing its job in southern Litani, and I am not afraid of war breaking out, especially since the American has influence over the Israeli, and we are in a time of negotiation and diplomacy. The dawn of peace has landed after the Pope’s visit, and we are in a time of peace and we want to live it, and the era of wars, conflicts and clashes is over, and the era of negotiation has arrived.”
Regarding the “Party’s” opinion on the negotiations, Al-Rahi explained, saying: “Negotiations do not mean an agreement, but what is happening now is preliminary negotiations, and they will not be on the sidelines, and they have the right to express their opinion.”
