مواجهات حادة في رفح: إصابات في صفوف جنود "غولاني" الإسرائيليين

The Israeli army announced the injury of four soldiers from the Golani Brigade, one of whom was seriously injured, while the rest were moderately injured, as a result of clashes with militants in Rafah, located in the southern Gaza Strip.

The army indicated that these injuries among the Golani Brigade and the Gaza Division occurred during confrontations with militants who emerged from a tunnel in eastern Rafah.

Earlier, “Channel 14 Israeli” quoted sources as saying that violent clashes and heavy exchange of fire took place between Israeli forces and militants in the Rafah area, south of the Strip.

For its part, the Israeli army radio mentioned that the Israeli forces’ soldiers were able to kill two militants, while a third militant planted an explosive device on an armored vehicle before returning to the tunnel. The radio indicated that a cell of three militants emerged from a tunnel in Rafah and fired an “anti-tank missile” towards the forces.

Al Jazeera’s correspondent also reported the landing of “Israeli military helicopters” east of Rafah, while the Israeli “Walla” website quoted “security sources” as saying that a force affiliated with the Israeli army was subjected to the firing of an “anti-tank missile”, coinciding with clashes in the area.

It is worth noting that the region has witnessed in recent weeks a crisis related to a number of resistance members who were besieged, while Israeli media claimed that Israeli forces killed all the militants present there during military operations.
