Available information indicates that the “iPhone 17e” will retain a 6.1-inch OLED screen, just like the previous generation, with a refresh rate of only 60Hz. This may be seen as a weakness compared to competing phones, but it is expected given the phone’s belonging to the economical “e” category.
The phone will likely come with a single rear camera, but some reports suggest it will be 48 megapixels, a significant upgrade compared to the “iPhone 16e.”
In addition, the device is expected to be powered by an A19 processor with fewer graphics processing cores, distinguishing it from the basic version of the “iPhone 17,” while maintaining strong performance commensurate with its price.
Leaks also indicate that the price of the “iPhone 17e” may start from 4499 Chinese Yuan, a price similar to last year’s edition, making it an attractive option for users looking for an iPhone experience at a reasonable price.
