Pavel Durov, CEO and founder of Telegram, has announced the launch of the new Cocoon network, a decentralized artificial intelligence network.
Cocoon (short for Confidential Compute Open Network) is a decentralized infrastructure initiative that combines “Blockchain” technology, artificial intelligence, and social media.
This new system is designed to enable users to interact with AI functions, such as summarizing and generating messages, without having to reveal sensitive data to centralized service providers.
Durov wrote on his Telegram channel: “Cocoon has started working.”
Durov also noted that the new network has already begun processing the first AI requests from users.
Durov confirmed that the network’s power will be expanded in the coming weeks, and mentioned that Telegram users will get a lot of AI-powered features while maintaining 100% privacy.
