مسودة داخلية: شبهات حول صلة وفيات أطفال بـ"لقاحات كورونا"

ذكرت “نيويورك تايمز” يوم الجمعة أن إدارة الغذاء والدواء الأمريكية توصلت في مذكرة داخلية إلى أن ما لا يقل عن عشرة أطفال قد فارقوا الحياة “بسبب” لقاحات كورونا على الأرجح، مرجحة أن يكون التهاب عضلة القلب هو السبب.

ولم تستجب وزارة الصحة والخدمات الإنسانية، التي تتبع لها إدارة الغذاء والدواء، لطلب من وكالة رويترز للتعليق على هذا الخبر.

يأتي هذا في أعقاب تغيير جذري في سياسة الحكومة المتعلقة بلقاحات كورونا من قبل وزير الصحة روبرت كنيدي جونيور، حيث قصر الحصول عليها على من هم في عمر 65 عامًا فما فوق، بالإضافة إلى الأفراد الذين يعانون من مشاكل صحية مزمنة.

ويُذكر أن كنيدي كان من أشد المعارضين للقاحات قبل أن يتولى منصبه الرفيع في قطاع الصحة في عهد الرئيس دونالد ترامب.

كما ربط اللقاحات بمرض التوحد، وسعى إلى تعديل السياسات المتبعة في التطعيم على مستوى البلاد.

وبحسب ما ورد في الصحيفة، لم تكشف المذكرة التي أعدها فيناي براساد، كبير المسؤولين الطبيين والعلميين في إدارة الغذاء والدواء الأميركية، عن أعمار الأطفال المتوفين أو حالتهم الصحية أو أسماء الشركات المنتجة للقاحات المستخدمة.

The New York Times reported on Friday that the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) concluded in an internal memo that at least ten children likely died “because of” COVID-19 vaccines, suggesting that myocarditis was the cause.

The Department of Health and Human Services, to which the FDA reports, did not respond to a request from Reuters for comment on the news.

This comes in the wake of a radical change in government policy regarding COVID-19 vaccines by Health Secretary Robert Kennedy Jr., restricting access to those aged 65 and over, as well as individuals with chronic health problems.

It is worth mentioning that Kennedy was one of the strongest opponents of vaccines before assuming his high position in the health sector during the presidency of Donald Trump.

He also linked vaccines to autism and sought to amend vaccination policies nationwide.

According to the newspaper, the memo prepared by Vinay Prasad, a senior medical and scientific officer at the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, did not reveal the ages of the deceased children, their health status, or the names of the companies producing the vaccines used.
