حرائق الضنية تتصاعد… وصعوبات تواجه فرق الإطفاء بعد انقلاب آلية

Last night, a massive fire broke out in the forests of the town of Btermaz in the Dennieh region, and it is still raging at this moment. Firefighting teams from the Lebanese and Palestinian Civil Defense, who were asked for assistance, are facing great difficulties in reaching the fire site due to the rugged nature of the area and the absence of paved roads that facilitate access. Strong winds have also contributed to the spread of the flames.

During the firefighting operations, a vehicle belonging to the Palestinian Civil Defense overturned. Fortunately, the damage was limited to material losses only.

After strenuous efforts, the Civil Defense teams were able to partially control the fire, but plumes of smoke are still rising from the area. Civil Defense personnel, in cooperation with local residents and the municipality, are currently carrying out cooling operations to prevent the fire from igniting again.
