كما أوضح أدرعي أن “قوات الجيش الاسرائيلي والشاباك تعمل على مدار الأسابيع الأخيرة في منطقة رفح بجهود مركزة تهدف إلى تدمير مسارات الانفاق التي بقيت هناك والقضاء على الموجودين فيها.”
وأضاف: “بعد تحقيق اولي تبين انه في وقت سابق اليوم خرج نحو 15 “إرهابيًا” من داخل بنية تحنية تحت أرضية في منطقتيْن تقع خلف الخط الأصفر بمنطقة شرق رفح.”
وذكر البيان أن سلاح الجو، “بتوجيه من القوات في الميدان بالقضاء حتى اللحظة على ستة مخربين. في المقابل أعتقلت قوات لواء الناحال خمسة اخرين استسلموا إلى القوات ليتم تحويلهم للتحقيق لدى الشاباك داخل إسرائيل”.
واختتم أدرعي قائلاً: “تواصل القوات أعمال التمشيط في المنطقة جوًّا وبرًّا للكشف عن المخربين الآخرين.”
Adraee also explained that “the Israeli army and Shin Bet forces have been working in the Rafah area in recent weeks in focused efforts aimed at destroying the tunnel routes that remained there and eliminating those present in them.”
He added: “After an initial investigation, it became clear that earlier today, about 15 “terrorists” emerged from an underground infrastructure in two areas located behind the yellow line in the eastern Rafah area.”
The statement mentioned that the Air Force, “under the direction of the forces in the field, has so far eliminated six saboteurs. In contrast, the Nahal Brigade forces arrested five others who surrendered to the forces to be transferred for investigation to the Shin Bet inside Israel.”
Adraee concluded by saying: “The forces continue combing operations in the area by air and land to uncover other saboteurs.”
