تقرير للأمم المتحدة: تصعيد إسرائيلي للوجود العسكري جنوب لبنان

The Independent International Commission of Inquiry has issued a new report exposing Israel’s practices and violations aimed at consolidating its military and settlement presence in the Palestinian and Syrian territories and southern Lebanon.

According to the report, Israel is systematically seeking to increase the number of settlers in the occupied Syrian Golan, which is a blatant violation of international legitimacy resolutions and the principles of humanitarian law. The committee believes that this expansion is part of a systematic plan to consolidate control over border areas.

The committee called on the international community to “take urgent action to hold Israel accountable for its repeated violations,” warning that the continuation of these practices undermines the foundations of a just and lasting peace in the region.

The committee also criticized Israel’s refusal to recognize clear borders, describing this trend as “fundamentally incompatible with the requirements of establishing a just, comprehensive and lasting peace,” stressing that the non-recognition of recognized international borders represents “a fundamental obstacle to any future political process.”
