In this context, Deputy Minister of Economy “Maher Khalil Al-Hassan” discussed with officials of the Grain Corporation a plan of action that includes the establishment and development of silos and mills in various parts of the country, in addition to increasing storage and production capacity and improving flour quality.
The plan includes allocating funds to repair cement silos and build modern metal silos in preparation for the coming seasons, in addition to updating the organizational structure of the corporation and expanding the storage capacity of the silos to ensure safe storage and continued supply of imported wheat.
“Al-Hassan” affirmed that the government provides all facilities and logistical and technical support to encourage investment in the milling sector, raise production efficiency, and ensure the stability of flour availability in the markets. (Al Arabiya)
