وفي منشور له على منصة “إكس” مساء السبت، كرر بن غفير مزاعمه بأن “الفلسطينيين اختراع سياسي لا يستند إلى أي حقيقة تاريخية أو أثرية”، واصفاً منحهم دولة بأنه “مكافأة للعنف”. وأضاف قائلاً: “الحل في غزة هو تشجيع التهجير وليس المسار السياسي”.
كما وجه بن غفير تهديداً مباشراً لرئيس الوزراء الإسرائيلي بنيامين نتنياهو، مشدداً على أن حزبه “عوتسما يهوديت” لن يكون جزءاً من أي حكومة توافق على إقامة دولة فلسطينية، ودعا نتنياهو إلى توضيح موقفه “صراحة”.
في غضون ذلك، أشارت تقارير إسرائيلية إلى أن الجيش الإسرائيلي يستعد لوضع خطة بديلة لنزع سلاح حركة حماس عبر استئناف العمليات القتالية، في حال فشل المسار الذي تدعمه الولايات المتحدة في مجلس الأمن.
ووفقاً لهذه التقارير، يتضمن مشروع الاقتراح الأمريكي المعروض على مجلس الأمن تفاصيل حول تشكيل قوة استقرار دولية تعمل بالتنسيق مع عناصر من الشرطة الفلسطينية، بينما تواصل واشنطن جهودها للانتقال السريع إلى المرحلة الثانية من مبادرتها، على الرغم من وجود خلافات حول صياغة القرار.
وحسب مصادر دبلوماسية غربية، من المقرر أن يصوت مجلس الأمن يوم الاثنين على مشروع القرار الأمريكي الذي يدعم خطة الرئيس الأمريكي دونالد ترامب بشأن غزة.
وقد دعت الولايات المتحدة، إلى جانب مصر وقطر والسعودية وتركيا وشركاء آخرين، مجلس الأمن إلى “الإسراع” في تبني مشروع القرار، معلنة في بيان مشترك دعمها لتفويض تشكيل قوة دولية للاستقرار في غزة.
وفي سياق آخر، ذكرت تقارير بريطانية نقلاً عن مصادر مطلعة أن الإدارة الأمريكية تدرس خطة لتقسيم قطاع غزة إلى قسمين: أحدهما يخضع لسيطرة القوات الإسرائيلية والقوات الدولية للشروع في إعادة الإعمار، بينما يظل القسم الآخر في حالة خراب.
Israeli National Security Minister Itamar Ben-Gvir has renewed his controversial statements regarding the Palestinians, affirming his opinion that they are a “fabrication without historical basis” and that “there is no Palestinian people.”
In a post on the “X” platform on Saturday evening, Ben-Gvir reiterated his claims that “the Palestinians are a political invention that is not based on any historical or archaeological fact,” describing granting them a state as “a reward for violence.” He added, “The solution in Gaza is to encourage displacement, not the political path.”
Ben-Gvir also directed a direct threat to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, stressing that his “Otzma Yehudit” party will not be part of any government that agrees to the establishment of a Palestinian state, and called on Netanyahu to clarify his position “explicitly.”
Meanwhile, Israeli reports indicated that the Israeli army is preparing to develop an alternative plan to disarm Hamas through the resumption of combat operations, should the US-backed path in the Security Council fail.
According to these reports, the draft American proposal submitted to the Security Council includes details on the formation of an international stabilization force that works in coordination with elements of the Palestinian police, while Washington continues its efforts to quickly move to the second phase of its initiative, despite disagreements over the wording of the resolution.
According to Western diplomatic sources, the Security Council is scheduled to vote on Monday on the draft American resolution that supports US President Donald Trump’s plan regarding Gaza.
The United States, along with Egypt, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Turkey and other partners, called on the Security Council to “expedite” the adoption of the draft resolution, announcing in a joint statement its support for authorizing the formation of an international force for stability in Gaza.
In another context, British reports, quoting informed sources, stated that the American administration is studying a plan to divide the Gaza Strip into two parts: one under the control of Israeli and international forces to begin reconstruction, while the other remains in ruins.
