Sources told Al-Hadath channel that Hezbollah received notification from the concerned parties regarding recent financial measures that will be implemented in Lebanon, including “Al-Qard Al-Hasan.”
The sources clarified that Hezbollah was informed of Lebanon’s intention to implement these new financial measures in the coming period.
The sources also pointed out that these Lebanese financial measures will significantly affect the activities of Hezbollah’s “Al-Qard Al-Hasan” in the near future.
According to the same sources, the banking operations and ATMs of “Al-Qard Al-Hasan” will cease to operate in Lebanon.
In addition, the work of “Al-Qard Al-Hasan” as an association in Lebanon will be limited to accepting gold deposits and providing loans in return only.
The sources stressed that these new Lebanese measures will prohibit any financial transactions between depositors and Hezbollah’s “Al-Qard Al-Hasan” institution.
