
According to the statement, the attendees discussed the issue of contracting in all its complex aspects and the possibilities available to issue a law aimed at regularization without the need to go through the Civil Service Council. In this context, Shahin stressed the need to achieve equality between all contractors in public education with regard to the entitlement to regularization.
For his part, MP Baydoun explained that his interest in contractors in vocational education is due to the absence of a special law for them for a long time, while expressing his support for the process of regularizing contractors in primary education.
During the meeting, a detailed review of the terms of the full-time file was presented, with a discussion of all available options for preparing a comprehensive file for contractors in primary education, provided that a unified vision is reached that serves the issue after studying various opinions on the law.
The League concluded by emphasizing that it “will continue its meetings with concerned parties, including heads, deputies, and stakeholders, with the aim of reaching a comprehensive approach that does justice to contractors of various categories and titles.”
