نتنياهو يناقش مستجدات الجبهات وواشنطن تطالب بوقف التصعيد في لبنان

Israeli Channel 13 reported that the US administration appealed to Israel to “wait and not take any field actions in Lebanon until the end of this month,” as part of its diplomatic efforts to calm the tense situation on the northern front.

The channel indicated that this American request came during direct talks between officials from both sides, while Washington is trying to give more opportunity to political efforts aimed at achieving a ceasefire agreement and activating Resolution 1701.

In a related context, the same channel reported that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is currently holding an expanded security meeting to discuss the latest field developments on various fronts, including Lebanon and other distant fronts, in the presence of senior security and military officials.

According to the channel’s military correspondent, this meeting comes amid increasing Israeli concerns about the possibility of escalation on several fronts, at a time when American pressure is intensifying to maintain calm and avoid any large-scale conflict.
