ظاهرة فريدة: القمر العملاق يزين سماء العالم يوم الأربعاء، ولن تتكرر قبل عام 2026

Next Wednesday evening, the sky will witness a remarkable astronomical event: the largest supermoon of 2025, offering us a breathtaking view that we will not see again for years.

On this particular night, the Moon will approach Earth at a distance of approximately 357,000 kilometers, making it appear 8% larger and 16% brighter than usual. This phenomenon is known as “lunar perigee” and occurs when a full moon coincides with its closest point to our planet.

This supermoon, known as the “Beaver Moon,” will rise in its full glory immediately after sunset. This spectacle can be seen with the naked eye from all over the world, according to statements from the Royal Museums Greenwich. This moon is considered the closest and brightest this year, before this phenomenon recurs in November 2026.

Astronomy experts explain that the appearance of the supermoon may slightly affect the movement of tides due to the increased gravitational force, but this effect will not exceed a few centimeters.

For photography enthusiasts, experts advise documenting this event using smartphones or cameras with zoom lenses, while ensuring the device is stabilized and using low-light settings and a slow shutter speed to capture the fine details of the lunar surface. (Russia Today)
