The statement also indicated that official records were made of these operations, and the violating lands were sealed with red wax, with a ban on replanting them until all the required legal and technical conditions are met.
The Ministry of Agriculture affirmed in its statement that it will not tolerate any violation that endangers the safety of citizens, stressing that “human health and the quality of agricultural production” are a “red line,” and that its technical teams are continuing their work in full coordination with the judicial authority and security agencies in various Lebanese regions, with the aim of ensuring the application of laws and protecting “farmers and consumers” alike.
