Google has announced the launch of a new innovative tool called “Pomelli,” which is a sophisticated marketing platform based on artificial intelligence technologies, designed specifically to serve small and medium-sized businesses that suffer from a lack of specialized design teams or face limitations in their marketing budgets.
This tool is the result of joint efforts between Google Labs and Google DeepMind, and aims primarily to enable business owners to create high-level professional marketing campaigns that are fully compatible with their brand identity, within minutes.
“Pomelli” relies on a unique concept launched by Google called “Business DNA,” where the tool performs a thorough analysis of the company’s website in order to extract the essential elements of visual and textual identity, starting from colors, fonts, and images, to the writing style and content used, in order to create a comprehensive and integrated file that represents the brand identity.
This file is used as a basic reference for building all future marketing campaigns, ensuring complete consistency in advertising messages and the overall appearance of the brand across various platforms and channels.
After identifying the identity, the tool creates customized marketing campaign suggestions, and users can adopt these suggestions or make modifications to them easily. Users can also write simple text instructions to generate ready-to-use posts and ads, with the ability to modify texts and images directly within the platform.
Google launched the tool in its public beta phase in the United States, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, and it is only available in English at this stage.
The company confirmed that this project is still in its early stages, and that it is working to expand the scope of support to include more languages and new markets, in addition to achieving deeper integration with other Google services such as Google Ads and Workspace.
Experts believe that “Pomelli” represents a quantum leap in the field of marketing automation, but it also raises some questions about the accuracy of analyzing complex brands or those with multiple activities.
