The Ministry of Public Works and Transport began today implementing an important project aimed at improving traffic safety on the international road that connects “Hazmieh” and “Aley” and “Sofar” to “Dahr El-Baidar.”
This project includes the installation of reflectors on the median barrier of the road.
This measure aims to enhance drivers’ visibility clearly, especially at night and in difficult weather conditions such as fog, which is common in mountainous areas on this road.
This will raise the level of safety for everyone.
Specialized teams have started work from the “Ashrafieh Bridge” area opposite “City Center” towards “Sofar Bridge”, and work will continue until the entire specified distance is covered according to the set schedule.
Work is underway to complete the project as soon as possible.
The Ministry confirms that this work will not cause any lane closures or changes in traffic flow.
Everything has been carefully planned to ensure smooth traffic flow without any disruption.
The Ministry urges all esteemed drivers to take caution, adhere to the instructions of the Internal Security Forces personnel, and pay attention to the signs in the work area.
