News has arrived stating that a member of the State Security apparatus assaulted an employee in the General Directorate of Real Estate Affairs today, specifically inside a warehouse belonging to the Beirut Real Estate Department.
The dispute arose because the employee refused to complete a transaction for the security element, as it was against the law.
Available information indicates that this security element, who works in the institutions security department, has been carrying out a field mission within the real estate department for some time. His repeated movements within the administrative headquarters have caused resentment among some employees, who have demanded an official investigation into the nature of his duties and whether there are potential abuses, such as “receiving a financial bribe.”
So far, no official comment has been issued by the General Directorate of State Security regarding this incident that occurred within public institutions.
