Unfortunately, what we are witnessing in our country is the repetition of many slogans that convey the enemy’s language in one way or another.

“If Israel sets conditions and says that it wants to withdraw weapons from the Lebanese arena and from the resistance, then we understand the conditions for the establishment of the state and the requirements for its establishment, and we fully realize how to preserve it.” The state must first assume its responsibilities in the face of Israeli attacks on our country, and not speak the language of the enemies, and not dictate their conditions to us.

The Prime Minister of Israel and the American President cannot demand the withdrawal of the resistance’s weapons and set conditions, while we see some leaders in Lebanon repeating the same words under the title of establishing the state.

We hope that the sincere people who truly want to protect Lebanon and establish the state in it will not repeat Israeli slogans or sing the praises of Zionist positions, because this approach does not lead to building a state, nor does it preserve the sovereignty of Lebanon.

Sovereignty is achieved by defending the borders first, and by adhering to the Lebanese constitution and laws that protect and preserve society. What is the value of a state that does not protect its people, does not care about its martyrs, and does not recognize the martyrs of the resistance?

Unfortunately, we see some in our country who do not recognize the sacrifices of the resistance, and hide behind complex political differences, whether in relation to the parliamentary elections or the electoral law, and seek to win votes by undermining the culture and will of the resistance.

Some talk about expatriates not out of concern for them, but out of concern for the votes they want to dedicate in the political arena to serve their parties and institutions, and this is not concern for expatriation but for influence within the state and its capabilities.

“There is a valid law for the parliamentary elections, and whoever is keen on Lebanon must implement this law, and this is what the Speaker of Parliament said: Nabih Berri, that this law is valid for implementation, and it is not permissible to hide behind empty, high-sounding slogans.”
